MAD is a vast airport. Transferring from the T4S satellite building to the main T4 requires taking an underground train. If your connection involves moving between the T4 complex and Terminals 1, 2, or 3, a transit shuttle bus is required. If you booked your flights separately (for example, arriving on LATAM and leaving on Ryanair from T1), your bags will not transfer automatically.
