The greeter will be waiting at the end of the air-bridge (the corridor connecting the aircraft to the terminal) holding a signboard displaying the lead passenger’s name.
For all arrival services, you must provide the contact number of the driver or receiving party, as well as the lead passenger.
We highly recommend to register in advance for immigration and customs via the Visit Japan Web (https://services.digital.go.jp/en/visit-japan-web/).
Once registered, you will receive QR codes, which you should show to your airport greeter upon arrival. (If you prefer not to register online, paper forms are still available on the plane or at the airport)
Our team will guide you to the shortest and fastest lanes available. The assistant may briefly leave you to cross through a staff channel, but will meet you again immediately after your passport is stamped.
Final permission to use VIP fast lanes is given by a senior immigration official at the time of service. If the pre-arranged VIP lane has a long line, staff may opt to use an alternative normal lane if it is faster.
- Pre-Customs Handling: For International Arrivals, airport staff are currently not permitted to assist with baggage reclaim or load/move bags that have not yet cleared customs.
- Porters: There are no independent porters allowed to work in the International arrival baggage area.
- Post-Customs Assistance: Once your bags have cleared Japanese customs, our Airport Assistant will be fully able to help you with your luggage.
